Hi!  Merrie Bobbins, llc is a custom embroidery and digitizing shop located at 2612 Olde Falls Road in Zanesville, Ohio. We offer custom embroidery to everyone! Whether you are an individual, a corporation or an organization we can help you with all of your embroidery needs.

We can add sequins to any of your embroidery designs or make a design that is entirely filled with sequins. This is a new service that will help you stand out from the crowd. If you have a cheerleading, dance, or flag group we can add custom sparkle to your jackets, tops or uniforms. Sequins are available in a rainbow of colors!

Merrie Bobbins, llc began as most companies with an idea of independence. Jacqueline Hughes had worked as a digitizer for a contract embroiderer for over 8 years. One Christmas she decided it was time for a change. As they say, the rest is history.

After months of ideas and plans she decided to go back to what she loved. Jacqueline has a degree in Clothing and Textiles from The Ohio State University and has always been involved in clothing or sewing since she was 9 years old.

Merrie Bobbin's name was chosen on a car trip with her husband, John. As they were driving they brain-stormed and randomly threw out names for the company. This name stood out from the crowd and seemed to have good recognition. The only thing that wasn't planned for was the amount of people who call asking for Mary! Although Mary is a nice name people are surprised that the owner is Jackie, but she will answer to Mary as well. It has become a funny side effect of the name of the company.

The shop started out in a small space in downtown Zanesville. The shop had a retail space as well as production. After a year Merrie Bobbins, llc  moved to a larger space and the company has now moved into our own building. We are concentrating on our embroidery and custom work for the clients.

Digitizing is an art. It is not something that can be learned in a weekend. There is a place for automated digitizing but if you want a quality, eye catching logo that will serve your company whether on hats, shirts or other items you need to engage a professional.

Merrie Bobbins, llc prides itself in doing fine digitizing. We can give you a product you will be proud to show off.  We charge $6 per 1000 stitches. Artwork needs to be clean. If you have a logo that needs a lot of encouragement to get it to digitizing readiness the art charge will be $28 per hour.
